Super Shoots Process

A Pre-production meeting (PPM) is integral to the success of any shoot but even more important to ensure the super shoot can be managed seamlessly.

The meeting must cover all standard PPM agenda points listed below.

Pre-Production Meeting

Every detail of the shoot must be provided via references and materials by the creative agency in collaboration with the Production Company and approved by the brand during this meeting. The creative agency account service lead must document the meeting minutes and promptly send contact reports to all stakeholders.

Adaptability is key in a Super Shoot to ensure that content can be easily repurposed across various platforms, each with its own requirements. By focusing on adaptability, brands can create content that is reusable, future-proofed and can be used for multiple years.

Simultaneous Production: By optimising resources, scheduling, and modular production techniques, brands can maximise output while maintaining consistency.

Simultaneous Production

The approved PPM directors & photographers shot list will be used to schedule the shoot day. No additional shots can be added throughout the course of the shoot as it has a knock-on effect to the shooting schedule.

Next Steps

1

The production team should plan for a module set-up on the day(s) of the Super Shoot

2

Create an efficient schedule which makes use of multiple camera units / directors and parallel scheduling of talent and locations

3

Carefully plan shot framing to meet all platform needs.

4

Have an onsite editor to make selects throughout the course of the shoot to streamline post-production

5

Include a folder for non-planned or incidental shots that could be used
